Becoming a Member >> Board MLS Agreement

Before sending a new member to the Greater Springfield Board of REALTORS® office, make sure he/she has the appropriate paperwork. A list of items needed to sign up a new member are listed below :

  1. Copy of work permit or license (only if no work permit is recieved or coming in from another board).
  2. DisplayKEY Agreement (must be signed by broker) this is required if an agent wants to obtain a DisplayKEY.
  3. Two checks - one for the Board fees and one for the Multilist fees (do not fill in amount on checks until at the Board Office).
  4. If the agent has been or is still a member of another Board of REALTORS®, we will need a Letter of Good Standing from that Board including the agents's NRDS number.

All new members are required to attend and orientation class which is offered once a month at the Board office. Orientation class is from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. witha lunch break from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. New agents must pay all fees and attend orientation within 60 days of their application. Brown & Wagner Mortgage, INC provides breakfast. Wells Fargo Home Mortgage and Great American Title will provide lunch!
