Before sending a new member to the Greater Springfield Board of REALTORS® office, make sure he/she has the appropriate paperwork. A list of items needed to sign up a new member are listed below
:
- Copy of work permit or license (only if no work permit is recieved or coming in from another board).
- DisplayKEY Agreement (must be signed by broker) this is required if an agent wants to obtain a DisplayKEY.
- Two checks - one for the Board fees and one for the Multilist fees (do not fill in amount on checks until at the Board Office).
- If the agent has been or is still a member of another Board of REALTORS®, we will need a Letter of Good Standing from that Board including the agents's NRDS number.
All new members are required to attend and orientation class which is offered once a month at the Board office. Orientation class is from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. witha lunch break from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. New agents must pay all fees and attend orientation within 60 days of their application. Brown & Wagner Mortgage, INC provides breakfast. Wells Fargo Home Mortgage and Great American Title will provide lunch!
